If a tree falls in the forest.....oh no...I mean if an individual is using a digital learning environment, but it isn't reflected in Google...are they learning? That is the question!
I would be concerned if my digital footprint reflected only the social networking that I was using in the digital world. My goal is to have a footprint that reflects my growth professionally through publishing or professional organizations. My footprint is essentially non-existant in either realm, much as a footprint in the sand. I don't use my full name on any social networking sites except Facebook. To create my digital footprint, I have to decide to either change that or to make an effort to reflect my professional projects digitally. Mmmm...I guess I'll have to get input on this very question through the Ning...should I use my full name or a partial name...that is the question!
